Two-thirds of Moms are Overwhelmed and Stressed
Did you know that two-thirds of moms are feeling overwhelmed and stressed?

Moms have had it super hard during the past two years- heck being a mom, and a working mom to boot was already super hard, without all the extra worries, lockdowns, rules, virtual schools and health to worry about.

A recent study showed that moms are not sleeping well, they are not eating healthy and they  have frequent headaches and stomach aches (well, that is totally related to the above).

Here are some tips for helping if you are experiencing this right now.

Sleep is everything. It is when your body has a chance to repair and do maintenance. If you are not getting enough sleep, it can lead to mood disorders, headaches, inflammation, stomach issues, and more.  How to get more sleep? Set a bedtime and stick to it. No electronics in the bedroom (stop the scroll!) and try diffusing some lavender or cedarwood.

Gaining weight? This can cause headaches, stomach aches and can also disrupt your immune system which is what we are all trying to keep healthy. Try sticking to 2-3 meals a day, only eating when you are hungry, and skipping the take-out and drive-thru.

Got headaches? Headaches can be caused by a number of things, and they can be debilitating.   They can be a sign of inflammation or dehydration or stress. Try rubbing a little peppermint on the back of your neck. Be sure to drink enough water every day, and try to reduce alcohol and sugar consumption.
