Dear Mama, 

I know how hard things can be....and the last two years have made it even harder. First things first, I want to give you a virtual hug.

I meant it- I want to wrap you in a hug and tell you that you are enough. You are doing your best. You are seen. You are strong.

I am passionate about helping moms create healthy happy and balanced families. And as we know- we can't have a balanced and happy family if we are stressed and overwhelmed. I want to make the path to wellness easier for you. Because I have been you.

Here is my story. 

I was a stressed-out mom who had just recently gone back to teaching full time. At this time I lost my mom to Alzheimer's disease. My son was being cyberbullied, my husband and I were arguing over silly things and my health was suffering. I felt like I wasn't doing anything right and we ordered out Panera just one too many times each week- which hurt our health and our wallet. I have autoimmune disorders and the stress of trying to do it all got to me and made me sick. I got to the point of being so depressed that wasn't sure I wanted to go on.

With my family by my side, I left my job and started to heal, mentally and physically. I started learning more about health and wellness, and got certified as a health coach.  I went back to eat healthy, and meal planning- which made it much easier to say no to Panera!  

I created simple systems over the years to help us stay on a healthy path- I fell off of it during that difficult time- but got back on and have been ever since. I know how important it is to my health, and my family's health, to make healthy meals. We grocery shop after church on Sundays, and spend time as a family meal prepping, which is actually really fun! We all feel good and have time during the week to have fun, fish, go to the gym, or just enjoy the sunshine (I recently moved to Florida!)
